Welcome John Laflam
Doucet Survey is pleased to welcome John Laflam as the newest member of our team. John brings with him experience from 6 yrs in the US Army, 2 yrs as a Grade Forman, a Civil Technology Degree from UNH and 20 years of surveying in Alaska, Utah and New Hampshire.
John will be working as Crew Chief at Doucet Survey. Among many responsibilities, he will be in charge of daily fieldwork, equipment operation & maintenance & data interpretation.
We believe his varied experience with construction layout, boundary, topography & research will be a great asset to our firm.

Doucet Survey Places 1st in Land Title Survey
Doucet Survey placed first in the ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey category at the 42nd annual meeting of the New Hampshire Land Surveyor’s Association. This plan was prepared in March of 2011 and depicts property located on Water Street in Meredith, NH. The purpose of a Land Title Survey is to assist members of the American Land Title Association in identifying title issues that are discoverable from careful survey and inspection, and those that are not evidenced by the public records. Doucet Survey was also proud to be a sponsor of the 42nd Annual Meeting and Equipment Show. All survey staff at Doucet Survey are members of the NH Land Surveyor’s Association and have been supportive of the Associations’ efforts for many years.

Doucet Survey Selected for 3-Year Municipal Contract
11/28/11-The Selectmen of the Town of Barrington, NH awarded Doucet Survey a contract to provide general Surveying Services in support of assisting the Town's various Boards and Committees during the next three years. The selection was made on a qualifications basis and upon recommendation of the Town Administrator. Doucet Survey's Steve Michaud is a resident in Barrington and will oversee all work performed under this contract. Barrington is one of over 30 municipalities with which Doucet Survey has worked since 1994. We are proud of this accomplishment and look forward to the opportunity to work with the Town over the next three years.

Matt Fagginger-Auer Receives Surveyor's Licensure for New Hampshire
NEWMARKET - Doucet Survey, Inc. is pleased to
announce its employee Matt Fagginger-Auer has recently obtained his NH Land
Surveyors license.
Matt began his surveying career in 1999 as an
instrument operator for a surveying firm in Loveland Colorado. In the summer of 2000 he started with Doucet
Survey, Inc. Since then he has obtained
experience in the positions of instrument operator, crew chief, survey/CAD
technician, and project manager.
Some of Matt’s responsibilities include drafting,
records research, boundary analysis and client correspondence. In addition, Matt has spearheaded Doucet
Survey’s push into the world of GIS.
Matt has produced final deliverables in GIS format for many municipal
projects as well as a large-scale recruiting boundaries project for the United
States Marine Corps.
Matt
received his BA in History with a Minor in Geography from St. Lawrence
University. He has also completed
AutoCAD Coursework from the University of New Hampshire as well as numerous
land surveying classes and seminars.

December 2010 Doucet Survey's Drafting Department Receives Awards
Doucet Survey's talented CAD Department continued its tradition of excellence by receiving 4 awards at the New Hampshire Land Surveyor's Association (NHLSA) Annual Meeting in December of 2010. Doucet Survey took first place in the "Color Presentation Maps" category with a USMC New England Recruiting Sub-Stations GIS Map and honorable mention in the "Miscellaneous Maps", "Topographic Maps" and "ALTA/ACSM Maps" categories. Plans are judged in accordance with NHLSA Map Standards and with NHRSA 478:1-a, commonly called the "Plat Law". This is the seventh straight year that Doucet Survey has received a first place award.

December 2010 Doucet Survey President Recognized
Doucet Survey is honored to announce that its president, William J. Doucet, received the New Hampshire Land Surveyor's Association (NHLSA) Fellow Award.
A Fellow Member is a Licensed Land Surveyor who has a record of outstanding service or has made an outstanding contribution to the profession and has been nominated to be at this grade and approved by a vote of the NHLSA Executive Committee. To be eligible for membership as a Fellow, an individual must have been an active member in good standing for not less than ten years during which time he must have given consistent and outstanding service to the Association.
Some of Bill's contributions include; Former Executive Committee Member as the National Society of Professional Surveyors liaison, scholarship contributor, event sponsor, and professional mentor.

December 2009 Goldknopf Obtains Maine License
Doucet Survey congratulates Jeff Goldknopf on receiving his license to practice Land Surveying in the state of Maine this December.Since beginning his career with Doucet Survey in 1996, Jeff has become a specialist in survey grade & RTK GPS work with extensive experience in boundary & engineering surveys and construction layout.He received his New Hampshire Land Surveyors license in May of 2008.Jeff is a current member of the Newmarket Conservation Commission.

December 2009- Luke Smith Wins Photo Contest with Professional Surveyor Magazine
Recently Doucet Survey employee Luke Smith was awarded the photo contest winner for the Professional Surveyor Magazine. The image seen above is a silhouette of co-worker Pat Sharkey. Pat and Luke were running 2 separate robotic instruments at a topographic site in Portsmouth New Hampshire late October of 2008. The image is now posted online at www.ProfSurv.com

Doucet Survey Wins Award at the NHLSA Meeting in December of 2009
Doucet Survey was awarded first place in four separate categories in the 2009 Map Contest.Surveyors throughout New Hampshire submit maps that are judged in accordance with NHLSA standards.This is the sixth first place award in the Alta/ACSM category since the six years Doucet Survey has been involved.

October 2009 Doucet Survey adds Rhode Island License
Doucet Survey, Inc. is pleased to announce its Vice-President Steve Michaud has recently become licensed to practice land surveying in Rhode Island. Steve has been licensed to practice in New Hampshire since 2003 and Vermont since 2006. His latest licensure now allows Doucet Survey to provide land survey services in ME, MA, NH, VT & RI. Michaud has been working in the surveying field since 1995 and is a graduate of the University of RI. Michaud is currently working on a 90 acre conservation boundary survey in Newmarket & Durham for the Nature Conservancy and construction layout services for a 250 acre members-only country club style road race course in Tamworth, NH. Michaud also has extensive experience in Flood FEMA/LOMA surveys and certifications.
