KEY QUALIFICATIONS: John LaFlam brings with him an extensive background working in the field as a land surveyor. After graduating college from the Thompson School of Applied Science, and honorably discharged from serving the country in the US Army for 6 years, he started his survey career in 1990 working for High-Phukan Engineering in Anchorage Alaska. The following year he became a Survey Party Chief working for Pool Engineering in Ketchikan Alaska. His experience as Survey Crew Chief has grown to include an expansive knowledge of boundary, topography, hydraulic and drainage surveys, as well as project inspection, boundary computations, deed research, management of survey crews, and other key responsibilities.
