KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Mr. Goldknopf’s first exposure to land surveying was in 1994 at the age of seventeen as a helper on a survey crew working on a cross country sewer line. It was a great introduction as the following fall he began coursework at the University of New Hampshire. While attending school he worked as an intern at Nitcsh Engineering in Boston, MA working on various projects ranging from large scale aerial control to the Big Dig. While finishing up his degree, Jeff began working for Doucet Survey, Inc. and became an expert in the field aspects of land surveying. He took this experience into the office and honed his skills in records research and CAD Drafting while keeping a presence in the field. In 2002 he moved to Maine while his wife attended graduate school at the University of Maine. It was there that he became employed with James W. Sewall Co. and was trained in the design and implementation of large scale GPS networks. He was reunited with the Doucet Survey team in 2005. Since that time he has worked on a myriad of projects ranging from records research reaching back to original Kings Grants to a GPS survey at Thule Air Force Base in northern Greenland. Jeff obtained his New Hampshire Surveyors License in June of 2008 and the Maine Surveyors License in December of 2009. Jeff’s specialties are Survey Grade & RTK GPS work, Boundary Surveys, Engineering Surveys, and Construction Layout.
